I have a 96 cobra with a procharger on it and I am getting a ticking noise from the engine. The more rpms I am at the louder it gets. Your opinion would really help me thank you Mark

I don't know how far back this problem goes (in model years), but I do know SVT had a huge beef with customers over a ticking problem with their heads...

I don't know if it is in my heads or not. I had a V6 mustang and the engine started ticking but I didn't really care about the car and I threw a rod. I am not driving my cobra now, 1 becaus it is winter almost 2 because of the ticking noise. I will find it I guess have all winter to.

I went to the dyno to tune the cars and I was pushing 430 hp to the wheels but it was in the 14 for air fuel ratio wich is really bad. I added more fuel but I think I am maxing the injectors out. I have only 30lbs injectors thats what procharger recomended for me. And thats what the chip they sent me is burnt for. I have noticed the noise only really happens when I first touch the gas and right when I get off the gas. Well this winter I rebuild the lower end and get new heads and intake. Then let the power begin even though I can't get traction as it is. Even with a 10 inch drag radial.
