I hope you Saleen Mustangers will forgive this post, about the Saleen S331 Thunder Sport Truck. We don't have our own forum and we are family. I've had a Saleen S331SC, for a few weeks, and 1,150 miles. This truck is a blast and it draws favorable attention everywhere I go. Fit and finish are excellent and it is a very comfortable ride. I love it. Saleen has done an excellent job!

I was at the Saleen dealership and an older gentleman was 'kicking the tires' on a new S331. I said, "nice truck, isn't it?" He said, "too nice to haul my wood in." I thought that was hilarious. Love the truck, send us some pics!

That's funny, I carry wood in my car every time I drive it

hmmmmm....Jazzer I sure hope you are playing with the right "stick" shift when you are driving
walc - you are welcome in here in my book. I love the S-331's. Would love to have one to pull my Saleen Trailer with but, but I'm sure those big wheels and tires & gearing don't do much for pulling power.

Hey Walc -- very cool truck. You also had an '05-'07 S281, right? Did you trade that in, or are you just adding to your Saleen collection?!

Thanks very much, everyone. I traded my 2006 S281 3V, in 12/07, for a BMW M3. The S331SC is an addition to the fleet.

Does your S331 surge at all with the cruise on. or have the boost guage bounce around at 60-70 mph ?
Yes, it surges, and boost gauge bounces, at 60 - 70 mph, with cruise control on. Turning overdrive off helps; but, doesn't completely eliminate the problem. I don't know whether there is a "fix"?
