Well I just put an eD 13Ov.3 sub (black version, silver is 13Ov.2) and a eD NINe.2x amp pushing it and it sounds great. You can package that together from eD for $400 and it will sound great if not better. I have a small sealed box that I built myself that was recommended by eD (20"wide x 15"tall x 9.5" deep) and it pounds and sounds really good. Better than I thought a single 12" subwould sound. These guys might say the same thing.
