Look along the frame on the drives side for the filter. It could also be back by the gas tank. My car is an 04 and when I bought it the filter was so plugged up it's a wonder it ran at all.

Alright. Thanks guys, after the tests in the morning, I'll let you know. I think the bump from jumping that, well "ramp of concrete" I guess you could say might have jumbled the fuel filter and made it clog the line.

Filter or pump but the sending unit is just for the gauge.

Eh, well, it's not the fuel filter. Just replaced it and the car still isn't starting. My dad thinks it's something in the carborator. Maybe the injectors?

that sucks. sure you have it in the right direction?

does it have a fuel pump cutoff? if so it should have a button (mine was in the trunk) that you can press to reactivate. this could have happened when you hit that bump.

it -may- be the injectors, but i think more than one would have to be out for it not to start at all.

did you check the fuel line from the tank all the way to the engine for damage?

if all of the above is ok, could be the fuel pump. if you have more time than money check the pump out. you could get it towed in and have a shop do a diagnostic on it, then do the work yourself whatever it may be..

well, they replaced the fuel filter, no go, he had gas all the way to the injectors, but no gas was going into the intake, unless both injectors are out, it has to be the fuel pump,  they took off the gas lines to the carb/efi deal,  and gas was in there,  but when reconnected, no gas was getting in there,  so that can only mean the pump

its kinda stupid but at the same time smart to have the fuel pump in the back with the fuel tank, its more efficient there since the pump is better at pushing rather then pulling

You said it's either the carb or injectors but it can only have one or the other. It's probably a throttle boby injection, they look like a carb.

It looks sort of like a carb but has 2 round electric injectors that spray gas into the maniflod instead of a single injector for each cylinder. They still need a certain amount of fuel pressure to work though so just because gas is there it may not be enough pressure. It could be a pump or pressure regulator or a plugged up pick-up in the tank.

Well, the final outcome being that it was the fuel pump. Guess I knocked it losse or something when I pulled the AutoZone jump. Car should be donw by tomorrow. I'll give an update when I get it back.

Anyway, got the car back. Everything works now. No leaks or anything new. Just feels weird driving it because the seat was moved and the new tires make it weird, because this is basically the first time I've driven on them. But all is good now.
