I don't have air conditioning though because I live in Northern California, there's no need for one, it never really gets blazing hot here (the triple digit temperatures are far and between), so I'm already gulping at the thought of facing Summer Texas weather. Ay caramba!

Nice collection Emp, after seeing the photo, I am certain I talked to your Dad in Nashville with his Boss 9. Two of my friends were parked just a few cars away under the stands. What a great show. Anyway, the cars look great (I like the house too).

Believe it or not, I remember the days when there were no air conditioners in cars at all.  Then  somebody invented a tubular looking cooler that fit in the window, but it was only water cooled air.  So, if you are tough, you can just roll down the windows and smile as you listen to the chatter of your mufflers for a couple thousand miles.

Decurion shelby did put the 427sohc in a couple ac cobras i have seen 2 different ones go up for sell at some car auctions on tv he also made a drag race one called the dragon fly even baldwin motion a chevy dealer played with one they named it the king cobra kinda funny chevy guys messing with a ford

I saw the dragon fly at uniques place here in dallas a few years ago, what a cool car to see in person!

i have rode in and drove a couple factory five kit car ac cobras they are fun cars but about 130mph front end gets light you can turn the wheel almost lock to lock it dont turn. i am saving up to get a factory five shelby daytona coupe i love that car and no way i can afford a real one

yeh, we grew up with 4/80 aircon (4 windows down, 80mph)
