Default wheel size?

i have an 89 vert that i currently have 17 inch wheels on.. it is lowered an inch and a half but i am doing a 5 lug conversion and wanted to run 18's.. what would the proper tire sizing be? the biggest i could fit? i need alot of traction but on street tires

if you need alot of traction, you should avoid 18's... they wont help you at all

i would jjust stay with 17's 18's are pretty big
