Finaly got my parts in today. The alum head light knob, alum lock knobs, alum door jamz & pod cover, alum e brake cover and rear seat delete kit. I didn't like the way the delete mounted so I customized it. The back was supposed to be bolted in behind the headrest but that looked dumb, you could see the headrest tabs and bolts Now the back slides up under the headrest and I added angle aluminum stips on the bottom so it doesn't move till you want it to. Oh yeah and I added my old grill pony with some Velcro.

Looks great :)

Im not much for one for the pistol grip shifter or aluminum e-brake but everything else looks great :)

Do you think that rear seat delete is strong enough to be sat on?

Thanks guys. No it's not stonge enough to sit anything on it really. It's real light weight material (1/8" parical board). I found some that were made of 5/8" partical board but they would weigh more than the seats and I'm trying to cut weight. I guess the pistol grip is a personal choice but I love it plus your hand can't slip off when grabbing gears.

I guess you gotta have lanky arms for that shifter handle, and I'm not so sure I like that rear seat delete, well the color anyways.

Yeah I know what you mean about the color, not quite like I thought it would be but oh well.

I just filled up today and now getting 18.4 MPG city!!!! I was getting 17.5 so by removing the spare tire, jack and rear seat I gained almost 1 MPG. Not to shabby for a free mod. The delete kit was just so it would look better.

I don't see why you guys get rid of your backseats. I just like the idea of being able to fit more than two people in my car when I need too.... Looks good though.

I'm a single guy with a GF and my kids are grown and out and she has none so I don't need a back seat. I carry a couple cans of fix a flat plus my cell phone and have AAA so I'm covered. If I do go out of town I can always toss the spare back in but 90% of my driving is in town and that extra mpg adds up. Plus it's sportier this way and it's like the 69 AMX, they came from the factory with no rear seat.

I got it at Kragen for $8.00. I like it better than the leather because you have a much better grip on the wheel.

looks good, an extra mpg is pretty good, yea all my friends have cars plus no one wants to or hardly can ride in the back of a mustang, unless u are pickin up a bunch of chicks no one can fit, but my type of chicks are small enough and can fit on a seat delete and not break it any way
