Default 302 question

does anyone know if the 302 out of a 94 F150 is the same as the mustang? The truck is not currently here or I would just check myself.

one more question, if the truck originally came with a 351 in it I can put the 302 in it without any problems with the EFI and what not right? Just the exhaust since the 302 is narrower.

i think so, again - as long as the 302 is a HO motor (shares the 351w firing order). i would think the computer would still work - but i would not take my word as gospel in this matter

double check that firing order!! i dont believe that the trucks run the same firing order. they, i believe, have a 1,5 firing order, not the 1,3.

i had a 1,5 firing order because of the cam that was in my car by the dumb ass last owner. i ran a 93 cobra ecu, YES, thats right a cobra ecu, set up for a 1,3 firing order. THEN i changed the cam to a e303 and that has a 1,3 order. SAME ecu ran BOTH firing orders.

they adapt to whatever you can toss at them, and yes my car runs very well.

heads would be the same (the E7TE was actually a truck head originally cast as an E5TE)
