Yea it's a Yank. The track is at 600 feet. I still have not got the shifts right, it hangs off the rev limiter on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts and there is no real tune on it yet, just a base tune that I out in. The cam is an older TSP grind 231/237 598/598 112*. I put the whole thing together for about $3000 with a bunch of used parts that me and a few buddies had laying around.
what tune are you on a mail order one from tsp? What year is the camaro? My bro was having the same problems with his car getting out of 1st when he went to norwalk he was trapping low for what he had but i think he has a slipping converter damn fuddle.
And if you want to learn alot about other cars this is the racing section to hang around in, I am a member of several other message boards and this is by far the best....people have all types of cars around here and are quite knowlegable about them....exept the LS1 guys, they are just a bunch of assholes

hahahaha I am glad at least one of you guys noticed that!
If you're looking to learn then I just suggest you leave this thread alone dude. Forget it ever happened....just start reading, commenting, and asking questions in other threads. Stick to the facts and try not to be a dick about your opinions. You do that and I guarantee you'll do just fine. FWIW, you're not the first member here to have a rocky start in this section. But there's a great group of guys here with all kinds of cars......I know I've learned alot about the competition and cars in general while hanging out in here.

whipple HO SC,FRPP springs, Pypes mid mufflers, Che adj. LCA, hurst, 4.10's, 1 piece DS, spec stg 2 clutch. Accel coils 12.52@117.6mph so far with a 2.01 60 ft time(pre shaft, coils, clutch).
Is the Hertz mustang a shelby? I thought it was just a GT with an x-pipe and different exhaust?
I'm not even sure it has a different intake or tune.

they are all autos as well and the traction control can't be turned off from what I remeber (read an article about them a little while ago)
Yeah they're all autos and they're rated at 325 I think. The traction control isn't supposed to be able to be turned off but there's some way to get around it. My brother works out at Hertz in Phoenix and told me the trick on how to do it but I forgot what it was. Some guy figured it out and posted a vid on streetfire.net I believe of him roasting the tires off his rental. That's real bright.
I just noticed the mustang had a passenger and the cobalt didn't. probably would have been a tie if the camera man was eliminated and a stang victory if he was in the cobalt.
