Default Sacreligious Stroker Swap

Alright I know I'll catch alot of heat for this but I know it's been done before. My question is what is needed and where to get and about how much to put a 383 Chevy motor in a Mustang. Could I do a 94 & up or would a Fox Body be better. Please understand my situation, I have a $5000long block sitting in my garage and don't want to go with a 302 or 351w because I already have so much invested in this block. I'll go carb'd to make things easier. Also what tranmission can I use, I have a built 700R-4 that if it would work I'd use that since I have over $1000 in it. I had an IROC Camaro with this stuff in it but decided to get rid of it, and now I'm thinking about getting back into racing. Someone please give me the technical answers I need, I know other people asked this before because I searched for it and they got all flames no answers. Thanks in advance guys.

well you'll need to make your engine and trans mounts also will need to find a yoke or drive shaft to work with the 8.8..it's been done...you might want to go with the manaul rack for steering..also you might need to beat out a lil on the fire wall for the distributor

Just out of curiosity, why did you ditch the IROC?

well I haven't ditched the IROC yet, but I had a guy who wanted to buy it, and I thought I had wanted to get out of racing but now I'm not sure, so I didn't want to back out on him, and I've seen the parts available for Mustangs and with everything I need to put into the IROC the money would probably be less for a Mustang if I could finda rolling chassis or something with a blown motor.
