those arnt it are they?

the one I bought was a circle that fits on the flanged part of the arms and pushes the fuel line open a little so the flanged parts can slide out.

Those are NOT the "tools" those are the clips that hold it in place. All you need is a flathead and pry the old ones out.

Has noone changed a fuel filter before? It would be wise be put a bucket under it when changing because there will be fuel leaking, also wear safty glasses, even if there gay whenever i mess with fuel i always wear them.

head to autozone, and theres a fuel line release tool you will need. Its like 8 bucks, and its so much easier than anything else. I spent 3 hours trying to get the lines off to change the filter, and couldn't, and seached the web, and found I need the tool to get it off. Came back form autozone, and popped each side off in 5 minutes.

it is messy though, you will need lots of paper towels, and make sure you are not almost empty of fuel, because you can lose about a quart by the time its done, unless you hold the thing up the entire time so it doesn't drain out.

MAKE VERY SURE YOU DEPRESSURIZE THE FUEL SYSTEM BEFORE REMOVING THIS STUFF THOUGH, OTHERWISE YOU'RE ****ED.

That is a false statment, you are changing a fuel filter here. I never depressurize the system, i just make sure that the key is OFF. you use a flathead to losen the fuel filter, take off the clip, push in the line twards the filter, then pull out.

Turn off the fuel pump(in the trunk on the drivers side) start the car

You will only loose whats in the lines, nothing out of the tank. You have the Hairpin clips for the fuel filter. Thats all! You just need a flathead and the filter/new clip

And clean all around the fuel filter, check for leaks after
