Default drag suspension!!

hey guys i am looking at putting a new suspension under the stang. i have 720lb. rate springs up front and thats about all i have right now.. i am looking at getting 50/50 rear and 90/10 front shocks and i am still unsure about the leaf spring set up... what should i do. i just want a car that is going to launch real well at the strip.. anysuggestions would be appritiated...thanks in advance..

If you are going to use the 90/10's you'll not ever want to be on the street with it. Don't know just what year/power train/ set-up you got but if you are using an automatic trans 80/20 will probably the best way to go. Really need more info than you provided. Competition Enginneering makes some nice adjustable shocks for the front end if you have a '64-'72 car.......

Ok, just saw the list of stuff on the car. What kind of rear tires are you using? Think I would use the 3-way adjustable shocks from Comp that I mentioned.....

well they have adjustable drag shocks a lil most $$$ but worth it you can dail in 90/10-80/20-70/30...I would however go with a coil over set for the front and a tubalar a-arm to cut wieght and add the handling and strength

Don't know if you can do that with that year of car. You could however get some 6 cyl springs for the front, causes good weight transfer and those cars need all they can get. The reason for 80/20 front shocks is that with 90/10's you can really 'jerk' the frontend up, a better E.T. is done thru forward motion not vertical motion.........
