I agree. I certainly heard it on the highway at those speeds. Actually, it was when I heard it constantly.
How far up the midpipe is the muffler supposed to go. It looks like the old one went a little higher up than I have the MRT, but I couldn't get it to go on any farther. Just want to be sure I have it on as it should be.

Since a lot of you mentioned needing muscle taking the old muffler off, what were you referring to exactly? Aside from the little bit of strength needed to get the bolts started, I didn't really need any muscle. The hangers came right out without any resistence at all for me.
so i chickened out on doing it myself. i'm taking it to a local muffler shop and having them do it for me. the crappy thing is i dont have a day off till this friday!

Hey about how long did it take to be shipped to you? From the day you ordered it to the day it arrived.
i ordered it on a tuesday at like 11 pm, got an order confirmation on wednesday morning and received it the next friday. so it took over a week using standard UPS.

Well, I definately notice a power boost when I floor it, only thing is, when I floor it there is a major lag before anything happens, like over a second.

yeah exaust would not do that. if its an auto that small lag is normal but a second is a pretty long time. also ive noticed the speed that your going also determines how long it takes your tranny to downshift. exaust along wouldnt cause a lag. i dont see how that is possible.

what year and what tranny?
Was the throttle lag there before?
It's a 2006 auto. There was a slight lag before, even after a tune. I just don't remember it being this long.
