This has nothing to do with my beloved Pony, but another Ford vehicle I have. The TPS on the throttle body went out today. Had it towed to a stealership and they told me that it is not covered by my extended warrenty, I called the warrenty company and they told me the samething. Well low a behold the power of the internet came to my aid. I found a TSB on this exact problem. Does this mean that FORD has to fix my Sh!t for free? Thanks for listening and any feed back would be great.
I am sorry because this doesnt pertain to answering your question, and I think I have asked you before....
but do you have any sound or video clips of your car? You have the Dynatech LT's and the O/R X pipe... I just ordered, on Monday, the Dynatech LT's and the catted x... wanted to get an idea of what it would sound off road...

I don't think so, a TSB is different than a recall. A TSB is basically put together by the manufacturer for "well-known" problems with well known fix procedure, etc. The fix itself is done like another repair, no free lunch here.
Thanks all for your help. Just out of curiosity when did the Throttle Body become a emission part? Thats what the warrenty company said!!!!!! who write this SH!T for them?
that's an odd one? How many miles on the vehicle? Federal law requires the manufacturer to repair emmisions equipment until 5 years or 50,000 miles, regardless of warranty

TSB's are often confused with Re-Calls. A TSB is not a mandatory fix issues. A TSB means essentially -
1. This is a common problem 2. These are the symptoms 3. IF the vehicle shows these symptoms, this is the fix.
TSB's are a basic warranty issue. Most ESP's only cover major components. You are more than likely SOL
Nothing to do with basic warranty issues. TSB just mean that they have a procedure for the fix, that's all. It isn't covered in the shop manual and is a seperate, updated version of a fix. Some TSB's have TSB's.
