Be nice.
your car is blue, no matter what Ford calls it. Mine is Maroon. I think there are a bunch of women at Ford sitting around and disscusing what a color name should be. If guys were nameing colors it would be a lot simpler.  It would be The color and followed by a + or - (for lighter or darker) and a number. so your car would be BLUE -1.
If Redfire makes anyone happy then Redfire.

I think if my paint were on a Hyundai, it would be "white", however since it is on my Mustang, I see why it is called "Performance White".

I'm gonna have to agree with ZZ on this color thing.  The fancy name Ford gives the color is just that, a fancy name.

I knew exactly what color he had when he said "maroon" and I think most of us did.

I guess your refuring to the women  sitting around and disscusing what a color name should be. IT was a joke, but as in most jokes there is some reality to it. No guy would call a collor Mistic Blue or sunrise yellow, or whatever. Red fire is maroon and the Blue car is Blue. I like that shade of blue, But it's blue. White is white, theres nothing performance whatso ever about paint. His car would run the same painted pink. Or light rose sunset.
Sorry if I ruffeled your lace.

I've never understood the color codes...I mean, I can understand  Red, Pink, White, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Yellow, Purple, Orange, Dark Green, Light green, Puke green...

And having the "candy" color designation, or pearlescent, those are important because they help to determine the opalescence. However...I don't need to know that there's an Andretti Red! It's STILL Red!!! Ferrari Red is STILL RED! Oh well...I guess it justifies someone's job to name the colors specifically...

I hear ya, The color names for auto paint are sometimes, Just stupid. They are 10 times worse when buying house paint, Just go to Home depot and look at their paint color
chart(s). The whole slight veriation of a certan color is not a guy thing, The reason there are 35 sades of red, is women.
What guy would even thing of looking at a color called" Mauve"

Fan Blades,
Some guy pulled up next to me a stop light and offered me $500. We went to my house and he took his tires and wheels home. Better on his car than sitting in my garage.
