How much TV could someone possibly watch (while Driving, or stopped for that matter)- I find this to be a bit excessive. ( this was a friends trucks).... This could be an electrical problem waiting to happen....

And one more so we know how small this truck really is.....

If done right then it looks cool....in newer cars.  But in older ones, what a waste.  I rarely even listen to the radio in my two.  I would rather hear the exhaust than the radio.  Also, with all the other crap in the truck, he has to have an extra battery and a high output alt. which = BIG $$$$

i wouldnt mind having a tv screen in my car,  but instead of TV,  i would rather have a GPS on or just have a map that moves while i am driving,  or maybe digital readings of oil pressure and engine temp,  stuff like that,  that wouldnt be too bad

That knothead has a screen over his rearview mirror.  Not the sharpest knife in the drawer if you ask me.

ehh,  if its ricerish to want a small GPS map at the bottom of your windshield on top of your dash,  i kinda like the idea, it would be nice for long trips at least

We have one TV in our Denali XL, but I wish we didn't, it gets pretty annoying listening to Dora while driving all the time. My daughter has a fit if she doesn't get to watch TV in the car, what is society coming to. I agree it is nice having the GPS sometimes, but it doesn't get used that much, but when it does it great.

My parents bought a tahor and it has a tv in it for my sivlings but they got the head phones that go with it that is the way to go. If I need GPS i just use my phone every once in a while.

I know i always waited for the head line "Man dies in a tragic gasoline explosion caused by a TV in his gas cap"    It is a funny thought.....

My duaghter is just 2 1/2 and doesn't like the the headphones, so until she gets a little bit older I will just have to deal with it.

in the back of an SUV for the kids is okay.  I wouldn't want a TV in any other car though...and I sure wouldn't want it in a classic.

BTW: did anyone see the "pimp my ride" where they put TV screens in the headlights?

SoildGas- thanks for the tip.  When I have kids, at first I'll only let them watch TV in the truck with headphones.  That way they won't know that it's possible to hear the TV without the headphones.

I don't have kids yet, but I'd guess it's easier for everyone when they have less choices.

i saw a guy driving a new edge stang about a month ago while i was out cruising with some of my friends.. it was ghetto.  red paint, gold striping and designs all over and said somethin like "little BIG" paited on it, and then when we pulled up to him at a light ( i was gunna see if he wanted to race ) he had about a 10 inch monitor where his rear view mirror should have been!!

In the head lights that is just asking for issues I can see angry people taking your head lights out.... that would be horrible i see issues with these TVs

Yep I think that might be a safety hazard.... i know TV in front of the driver or in the view of the driver is illegal in New Mexico if they are able to function while the car is moving. I find it funny how it  is completely disregarded... Don't get me wrong do what you want with your car but some rules maybe are a good idea to follow... I would not want to wrap a car around a tree or pole just because I had to see who jack bauer was gonna take down or what wacky thing Will farrel was gonna do.

I have three huge LCD flatscreens on the walls throughout my house. Why in the world would I want tiny midget screens inside a bloody car?
