I use a tablet computer with a GPS and moving road map program for long trips, but never for watching movies or TV. It comes in real handy not only as a GPS, but when I get somewhere I can use the tablet to connect tot he internet to find stores and such. I also use the same computer at home and in the airplane when flying.

I moved everything foward to get it more user friendly. This I made from a old fridge door. I had to bend the dash up just a little to help clear, hard to notice. A/C and PIAA light controls are also in a more friendly location. The ECM is mounted under this also. And guess whats playing on the DVD?

So thats the fridge door. ha ha

I would say the soundtrack has a song called "Low Rider" by War. Great minds think in same circles. Guess what I bought for the same purpose?

I did put one in, It plays DVD,s CD's and I think MP3's. Mostly for looks as I don't think I will be watching whille driving. I do like the toutch screen though. Its a whole lot easier than trying to fiddle with knobs.

DVD player in the back for the curtain climbers in newer cars, a must have for road trips....(How did my parents ever do without it?)

In a classic...never....

I don't even own a regular tv, let alone a car tv. So no, I'd never put a tv in my car. Only a GPS.
