What's the best and safest way to remove that crap that dealerships put on the back of your car? I hate giving dealerships free advertising. They should be paying me to do that. I want those decal letters off!

Heat gun/hair dryer will work fine! If you get any glue left over, goo gone will work.

They have to ask your permission to put them on your car anyways, usually it's in fine print somewhere on the paperwork, they can be fined $200 LOL

Tis' true. Even goes for the license plate cover thingamabob. It happened with a Mercury Sable we bought, my Father specifically told them not to put any decals or anything on the car and they did anyways. He filed a complaint at the DMV and the dealership called us crying about their $200 fine and asked why we didn't bring to car back to have them removed

like everyone has said, use heat to get it off. You may be stuck with some goo on the paint, it's not a problem. Goo Gone works, but I prefer this grafitti remover called Goof Off. I have used it several times on my car with no problems.

hehe, just be careful like it says on the bottle, if you use it to wipe down soft plastics, it will wipe off layers of the plastic..

I used a hairdryer to heat it up, then just peeled it off. I used some gas on a shop towel to remove the remaining glue, then waxed it.

I got my car from beach ford, they put a decal the size and shape of the ford emblem on the back, opposite of the ford emblem. It was awful...first mod to my car was removing it
