any one know if they still make the SR that was a bad ass car

Yes, in 04 they made 1. They needed to produce at least 1 in 04 so in scca competion people could run the S351 saleens. The way the rule works, to run a past production car in scca, the manufaturer has to currently produce that engine platform. So that's why saleen did 1 SR in 04. Last week I talked to a friend of mine at Saleen, and I asked him if they were doing an SR for 05. He wasn't sure. The sticker price on them is $180,000.

For $180,000 you're getting a street legel, true racecar. If you order one, Saleen doesn't build it in their Irvine Ca plant, the Saleen race team builds it in their race shop. The performance #'s are pretty sick.
