If a saw a classic and a supra sitting near each other, I'd head straight to the classic to check her out and not even notice the pile of rice. Seriously dude, we'll hunt you down and slap u silly if you sell that stang for a Supra

Well right now I get like 8 mpg. Thats when I'm a good boy and don't burn rubber outa every stoplight (which is very rare). The Stang definietely turns heads, but so would a Supra...
Are you kidding? I don't even know what a supra looks like, I could drive past a thousand of them and never even know it, a classic Mustang will never get past me without getting noticed.
I guess I will have to agree that a supra is a "nice car", seeing as so many folks think so, but there are a lot of "nice cars" that I really don't care to own. You seem like the kind of guy that likes to get noticed, (nothing wrong with that), you will be seriously disapointed if you move to a supra. Everyone notices a classic Stang, from 8 year old kids to 75 year old men, a twin turbo Supra might make you "king of the ricers", but no one else will even notice your car.

my nephew is 18mo old and loves cars. He likes to try to open their doors in the driveway to go for a ride. When I show up in my 65 he looses interest in all other cars and puts all his attention on the classic. At 18mos, even he knows better than to pay attention to ricers
It also helps that he his favorite word is "ball" and he thinks the front turn signals are orange balls.
ya, what JMD said. There is this kid i work with, by kid i mean like 18 or so. All he talks about is Honda this, turbo that. All the "MEN" i work with, all laugh at him, esp. when i bring my car to work. As i said though i do like all cars, i just have a thing for the classics.

Do it. The Supra is worth atleast 3x as much as your mustang.
Some of you have no clue what you're talking about lol
Just a point for clarity, I don't doubt your above opinion as being factual, and in any case I don't want to research the validity of what you say above, so I will concede your point. Even if you were to contend, and prove to me that a Supra was the baddest, fastest, most efficient, most reliable, car ever made, that would apreciate 100% every year and never wear out, I still would not own one.
If this is not knowing what I am talking about, then I guess I am guilty of "not knowing what I am talking about",, I guess I will just have to live with my own ignorance.

go ahead, toss out the heritage and the legend of a mustang for some fast rice. it may be a supra and it may kick ass on the road and it may even run my car, but at the end of the day, its still a toyota

Real car enthusiasts will pay attention to a Supra. With a Supra, you wont just be "king of the ricers" but you'll also be king of the highways. 97.3% of all mustang owners and 60% of bike owners would be scared to pull up against one on the highway.
You said it yourself that you don't even know what they look like, so here's a few videos of them doing what they do best.

Haha, not interested in twin S/C... and ya I like BlackLX's videos. The Supra is one of the few ricers that can keep up with muscle cars at the drag strip. They aren't 4banger- front-wheel-drive-200hp-with - fart-can Asia cars. They are quality machines, rear drive, and can be made to do some really cool stuff.

But I don't care what they look like, what they drive like, or if they can pop a wheelie all the way from LA to NY while hovering over a speeding crotch rocket,,,, Guess that makes me "not a real car enthusiast",,, damn,,, I will just have to learn to live with my shallow self!
<<EDIT<< I will look at the links when I get home, IC is too slow here at work...>>>>

I doubt STS makes a kit for your '67 Mustang. It is not hard to make your own setup. Just purchase the piping, oiling supplies, turbos and 2>1 intercooler, fuel needs, and and you're set. Not many tools needed. If you're really interested, pm me or hit me up on aim or msn, I'll be more than happy to talk turbos and Mustangs... (double negative?)
It sounds like many of you drive a Mustang only for attention. This saddens me... In my opinion, driving a Mustang is supposed to be about you. I'ts about you having fun driving your car, and you should appreciate it. This goes for any car. Granted, it's great to have a car that other people like to look at, but this shouldn't be the main focus.
And stop comparing a Toyota Supra to a Honda Civic. If you do that, you might as well compare a Triumph Spitfire to a Ferrari Maranello: just because they're made on the same side of the planet does not mean they're the same car

I think I understand most of the stuff about the turbo set up, but how would u inclose the carb? could you use a paxton air box like they use on their paxton supercharged cars and just mount the tubing to that? enlighten me http://www.paxtonauto.com/systems_carb_acc.html (the first one i mean)

They can't Chicken. Black LX and others are full of it. This is a classic Mustang site. Stick with it. If you want to talk about Toyotas and Celicas, then I suggest you go those sites.

Okay, here's the deal. You don't have to notice EVERY single car on the road to be a car enthusiast. I consider myself to be car enthusiast (don't bother telling me that I'm not, because I don't care what you think) and I don't notice every car. If I see a nice BMW, Mercedes, Chevy, Ford, truck, suv, etc. then I might try to get closer look and maybe try to figure out what they have under the hood or what other things they've done to it. But just because someone doesn't notice a Supra, that doesn't mean that they're not a real car enthusiast. IMO you're just trying to prove that you're more open to other kinds of cars than anyone else; that or you're just telling us that you'd rather drive a Supra.
D^mit If You Buy A Freakin' Rice Cooker, I'll Hunt You Down And Kick you A$$ In My Blown Boss 429 (Just As Soon As I'm Done Redoing It). Buddy Boy if That Rice Cooker Can Beat A 1200 Hp/ 1000 Ft-Lbs All Aluminum Boss 429 Then I Will Personaly Kiss Your A$$
O I Forgot To Mention That it Also Has A Lenco CS1 Racing Trans In It ( & M/T Rubber & 4-Link Rear In It) So Stay With The Stang Man Stay Classic And True Or Else!!!!!!
