the 3si aka stealth/3000gt are a nightmare to fix and have great wiring problems some start fires my last guess a suzuki swift

I've known about two dozen or so people with 3000GT's and Stealths, none of them had electrical problems. I be thinkin' some of your friends are doing shoddy stereo system jobs.

As far as the year, it's between 2004 and now.

Y'all are gonna kill me when I tell you what it is.

All stealths have an ignition problem....Wheter it's now or later. There is a component (capacitor) that drives the injectors that fail. It's a $300 exchange to upgraded the processor and fix this problem...

Now back to the story........I think I know...

I'm going to get hell, for saying this, but that blue fastback doesn't look to bad.

Isn't today the day he was going to reveal his new ride?

After careful thought and reconsidering, I think I know what it is.

It's a SCHWINN bicycle

You got me! LOL!!

I didn't get around to picking it up today. Weather wasn't on my side.

It's a Schwinn Ranger mountian bike. $140 at my local target. Best part is, I get to walk 8 miles to buy it and than ride 8 miles back. >.<

Best part is the (theoritical) gas mileage. Saying you convert calories into gas, you'd get 3000 miles to the "gallon".

Serious as a heart attack.

My GaySabre is only getting 13 MGP now. I've been "kicked out" of the house so I have to save every dime I can. Unfortunatly, I am seriously looking into a Yaris, even tho my first choice is a Tacoma. Even at that, I'd have to put an ass load down on it.

I need the excersize too. Technically, I'm 20 pounds over weight.

Ok dude.  I work in a bike shop.  If you need a bike for daily transportation, don't get a Schwinn!  Go to a real bike shop, don't get a department store bike!

Living in a nation of bike lovers and having 3 bikes, my work bike ($1000 paid for by work) is aGazelle with a cheap group set on in under two years I wore out the the front chain rings, my excellent $3 bike and finally my Fausto Coppi Lombardia with a Tiagra group set. I have seen those schwin bikes and they are crap. I say hit up craig's list and have a look for a good 2nd hand bike, If you plan on riding many miles get a racer type bike.

The Schwinn is perfect for what I need. I've read nothing but good reviews on the bike and from riding it over 8 miles today, I only have one complaint. I need a gel seat! My ass hurts!!!!

I'll only be riding it about 5-6 miles a day and only in good weather. I'm sure the mileage on my car will go back to 18+ MPG once I finish replacing the gaskets and sensors.

I don't care what y'all think of my "crappy" bike. It's my ass that has to ride it daily (or as I please). Frankly, I don't care what it is. I don't have money for an expensive bike store bike and don't see the need. I had a 350 mongoose (got a deal cause the bike store owner was a harley rider with a good friend of the fam) and was destroyed in one summer. I'e never seen wheels bend and pedals fall off a bike before that and I had owned a huffy BMX bike, huffy and magna mountian bikes and a schwinn 10 speed that was well over 15 years old.

Effin noobie!  Don't get a gel seat!  People think they're more comfortable because they're soft to the touch.  What you need is support though.  Just ride the bike a bit and break your ass in.  I gaurantee that you will be more uncomfortable on a gel then something firm.

My front fork on my mountainbike is worth $850 dollars haha.  My bike is worth more than half what my car is!  I am sad . .

I WANT MY PRIZE! And no, I won't rub your ass for my prize

Bikes are cool. Me and my daughter take dailey bike rides. I ride a scwinn beach cruiser and I love it. I grew up on schwinns so don't let these uppity tea toting pinky pointing snobs dis you when they tell you about their $1000 dollar bikes. Hell, I'd ride a $1000 bike if my company bought it for me and gas was over $6 a gallon. Or, I'd sell the company bike and buy parts for my mustang and then drive it to work

Dude, I applaud you for doing what is necessary to make it through this hard time in your life.  This next year or so of difficulty will make you stronger mentally, emotionally, financially and physically (especially with all that pedalling).  I am certain that you are already at bottom and now you just have to ride up that hill.
