Winter is around the corner and its getting freezing cold outside. I drive my mustang daily and i was wondering if anyone could give me a couple of tips on how to help take care of my car through the weather this season.

I already spend more time warming my engine up in the mornings, as well as driving slow unti the engine is warm. I also check fluids more often espcially antifreeze. Should i be doing anything else?

Also, ive noticed that on really cold nights--usually below 40--when i drive my mustang early morning, the front right side tire-area squeaks and makes some "struggling" nosies. I belive this is because of the coldness stiffing the joints up. I'm not sure, but thats what i believe is occuring. But if this would be the cause...wouldnt my left side also be squeaking? Is this a problem? suggestions? thanks

Do a lube job and don't forget the 2 upper A arm points. Check condition of rubber piece above springs and interface between springs and perches.

Soaring

I second the motion on the lube job. Also, since you are that cold, I would put on a circulating water/block heater and plug it in at night. Of course, the best thing would be to have it in a garage that is heated.
On edit: When I was in Alaska for several years, not only did I have a circulting heater on the engine, but I also had an interior heater. That way, the seats won't crack due to the extreme cold when you sit down.

yeah usually u would have to tune up ur ride if ur going to take out for the winter. yeah lube every grease fitting u see they might be dry.
