ok i got an 03 silver cobra and i got a hookup on window tinting, heres the deal. i was thinkin of goin 5% on the back window then on the side quarter windows i was thinkin of going 5% as well, however on the car door windows i was thinkin of going 25%, he said he can do all this for $160 is that a good price? and also the guy was talking about shaving my windows so that the whole door windows gets tinted, i don't know exactly what he mean and im not sure if i wanna shave my windows, what do you guys think about that?

No clue what he means by 'shaving the windows'.

5% all around besides the front windows with 25% would look dumb. 25% against 5% would look like it's barely even tinted. You should go with 10-15% if your not worried about any laws or don't have any.

hmm i'll consider that, i'll have to talk to him and see what people get pulled over for. so you think i should keep it close like maybe goin 25% all around or something if the law is strict?

just use 20% all the way around. any darker and youll have issues seeing at night.

I got pulled over and the cop light meter'd my front windows and it told him they were 35%. I bought the car with the windows already tinted so I'm not sure but I know the back is much darker than the front. I don't think it looks bad, plus the lighter front windows help with seeing at night.

Heres what 35% in front and much much darker in the back looks like....

This is the kind of information i need. I live in arizona . And i must have a 35% on the front side windows. and the back window can be any % film.. I ordered 20%..... which was a dumb mistake. however. ..if i leave my windows rolled down. while im driving and when i park my car and roll them back up. Can i still get a ticket even though im not driving?

My friend has 2.5% on in the back of his car and 20% on the front and you cant really even tell its different. 5% and 20% dont have that huge of a difference. I have 35% all around.

i have 5% on mine and its slightly hard to see out of at night :eek:

I really don't think so. I live in PA and here there is not allowed to be any tint on any of your windows which sucks ass. But I've had some d!ck head cops that hang around your car waiting for it to move so they can get you.
