2k1gt, that picture is misleading too. To really see how dark the window tint is you need to be able to have a clear view through both windows, looking down into a tinted window at someones interior makes the tint look much darker, but when you are sitting in a car besides it they can see right in and see right through both windows.
If you want to not be seen by people looking in through your windows, go with 15% or darker.

The picture wasnt taken from that huge of an angle, if you look hard enough you can see other sides window.
And I do aggree, if you dont want people to see you get 20%(they dont have 15 around here) or 5%

EDIT: Well i cant get any of the pics to work, most of them are from an angle with sky reflections anyways. I like 35%, dark enough so people cant see quite as much of me, but its also not dark enough to get harrassed by the cops.

Any certain tint will always look darker or light depending on the amount of light on the windows. Also a dark interior will make the tint seam darker. Even if you have all the same tint around the whole car the front doors always seem lighter. And again thats depending on how much light is shining on the car. This is because the sunlight is shining through the front window. A lot of my buddies from NY tint there front windows too and double up on the back and rearly dark on the sides. But they also dont drive mustangs either. Its funny the comments they get driving down the street. But anyway having a darker tint on the back window (like 5%) and a slightly lighter (20%) tint on the back quarter glass wont look bad because there is the rear quarter breaking your preception of the tint. Where it would look silly is the doors being a different percentage from the rear quarter glass because the are nothing really seperating them. making it more obvious.... Just my opinion.

i went ahead and tinted my windows, i did 5% on the back and quarters, and then 35% on the roll-up windows. it looks really good and blends nicely, at first i was like don't you guys think i should do 35% all along the side and 5% on the back, but i have to admit i'm glad i went 5% on the back/quarters and 35% on the roll-ups. i'll post some pics of my car as soon as i get a thing that will read my roomates camera card.

I told you it wouldnt look bad. haha. Im glad it worked out for you. And be happy that you will still be able to see at night with the 35% sides.

yea thanks dude, it looks sweet. someone said it would look dumb if i broke it up, like by doing the quarter 5% and the roll-ups 35%, but it looks good. oh and i got my roomates camera workin, i'll have some pics up tomorrow when it's light out.

LOL, I love cobras but I'm gonna hang on to the GT. It'll eventually be on 03/04 cobra level.
