Does anyone know whether the wheels off of a 2007 Mustang Shebly GT (NOT Cobra GT500) will fit on a 2002 Stang GT?  The lug pattern looks the same, but I'm not 100% sure.

lug pattern is the same, but the offset is all wrong, the wheels will be sunken into the wells too far, and look goofy

Thanks for the info.  Do you think wheel spacers will help with that?  Just curious, since I could potentially get a REALLY good deal on some Shelby GT wheels.

And speaking about wheel spacers; if I didn't get these Shelby wheels I wanted to get some spacers on my '02 GT to push the wheels out a bit further.  What size should I get, 1 1/2", 2"...?  I just want a to give my Stang a little bit meaner look and a little better handling in the corners.  Any recommendations?  I have the stock wheels, as you can see in the picture below.

Would you want to sell your old wheels if you get new ones?  My 2001 Mustang looks like yours but it doesn't have the rims like that.  I wanted that look but right now body has any for sale.

JoeKramer:  I'd be willing to sell the wheels as soon as, or if, I get these new ones.  I'll keep you posted.

AdderMk2:  Thanks for your insight.  I guess my best bet would be to get wider wheels and tires, huh?

Well, how much more correct could I get than the stock wheels?  I saw an 03 GT with the wheels "pushed" out to be flush with the fender.  You know that part that sticks out a bit on the top end?  I liked that look, and I would like to give my pony that same one.  How could I accomplish that?

sorry, I misunderstood what your intentions were.

My favorite combo on the New Edge is a 17x9/17x10.5 stagger with 275/40/17 front and 315/35/17 rear tires
