Well I ended up doing too much hard driving to see a mileage increase. Mine was down, but it was down like it normally would have been. I know there's no way to gauge it when you do that so I'm gonna try it again until I either see better results or burn through that 32oz container I got. Ryan

Does this look like the right stuff? It dosn't say 100% anywhere but it was the only kind they had at Lowes.

Yup, look on the back, the only ingredient is the chemical formula for acetone.

I almost need a fill up I'm going to wait till my needle is on E first. What's a good brand name of acetone to get? And how do i put it in the gas tank do I use a funel? Also Would it be better to put the acetone in first then fill up or fill up then add acetone?

I think your best bet is to put the acetone in at the pump and then fill up the tank (it mixes better). As for a brand I think they should all work about the same I bought mine at Lowes hardware.

whatever brand, if mixes decent with gas but puttin it in at the pump would be best, i put mine in a 12oz squeeze bottle (like a ketchup bottle) and marked off 12 intervals so i know each is one oz. i have a whole gallon cause thats all sherwin williams had

Ok this friday I'm going to fill up and add this in probably. I'm going to go to ACO hardware store and get ACETONE, but inorder to get it in my tank I'm going to need some kind of spray bottle right? (If you can post a pic of spray bottle kinda like what you used so I know what to look for when I buy one.)Then I'm going to go to a pump and spray 3oz of ACETONE in to my tank then fill it up to the top. Is that how I should do it? I'm affriad I might mess some thing up then blow my engine or some thing lol.

I'm gonna do some more research, because all kinds of chemical have come up in topics like this over the years that I've been on various forums. Some guys run xylene, acetone, and a few other types of chemicals. Some of it is for more power, less detonation, or better gas mileage. Ryan
