counter strike 1.6 is a game that came out when i was a little kid, its the most popular online video game to date.  as soon as i was old enough to compete (cuz i was damn good!) i joined.  CAL = cyber athletes (amatuer) league (i know, nerdy huh?) but i was good and got money for it! then i upgraded to play CPL but i got in by lying about my age (its the profesional league) and tool wench, i never noticed ur name! i always thought it was toolwrench!!

In college friends and housemates called me by my last name, "Carothers".  During parties and other drinking sessions, and as speech would begin to slur, it evolved into "Smothers".  And it stuck.

SingleAndDesperateClassicCarFan didn't really sound right, so I went for a play on Mustang Sally.

I'm Pam, but detest the name Pammie .... but MustangPam didn't sound right.

Elsewhere I'm 1965GTOChick but I don't think that would fly too well over here.

Real name.  I'd tipped a few in the Bull and Finch Pub several years before the place became the inspiration for the 'Cheers' setting.

I use "solidgas" pretty much on every forum I visit, it has no meaning other than it usually isn't taken. I was into astronomy, and rockets for awhile, well I still am.

I can't wait to attach a solid rocket booster to my Mustang.

It's also an early Beatnik phrase meaning very cool or something like that. It also reminded me of Mason William's song - Classical Gas. Good ID.

And that rocket obsession of yours, there was a new item about some guy in Sunnyvale that attached a jet engine to his car. I don't remember what make but it was real.

Mine is pretty simple too.  I bought a 67 coupe when I was sixteen (first car), and I've been hooked ever since.
