tire size for 89 lx

HI,
im wondering if a 245/50/16 rear and 225/50/16 will fit on my 89 lx.
it has 16in aftermarket wheels on it, i do not know the manufacture of
the wheels, i just bought it last night.
im looking a the kumho ecsta ast tires.

225/50/16 is not the proper size tire... run a 225/55/16 up front OR run 245/50/16 all the way around so you can rotate them and get maximum tire life

lkie i said it has aftermarket wheels so i dont have a clue as to what is supossed to be on it.
i just know they are 16" and way to skinny. looks goofy. the frt are a 215/55/16 and the rear are 225/50/16.
i want to go wider. i think it looks better.

if your gonna stay 16" then you should have 225/55/16's in front and a 245/50/16 in the rear. If you want drag radials for the back, youll have to go 255/50/16

i'm not sure of my other options than to stay 16",i forgot to mention that it has the 5 lug conversion done to it.
dont want drag radial ,its gonna be a daily driver,when its done.
