bumping up the horsepower??
hello everyone, i am new to the forum, and wanted to introduce myself. my name is brian from duluth minnesota and i had a few questions about my 2001 mustang gt convertible, and i figured there is no better place to ask then right here on the forums. So if you guys wouldnt mind sharing a little knowledge with me, it will be greatly appreciated. i was wondering what all i could add to myt car that could bump that 260 stock horsepower to around 300 or 310 without buying those expensive superchargers. the things i have thought of was a performance chip, or those reprogrammers, flowmaster exhaust, k&n air intake kit, or better brand name, ( i have no clue which are the better performance wise) . so far thats pretty much all i could think of. not sure how much the horsepower will increase, but would i be on my way to getting that horsepower up without dropping thousands of dollars, or is it unrealistic to think i can do that without major changes? your thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated, thankyou all very much. brian
