HOLY. ****.  that bitch runs like a scalded jack rabbit, chirps alll the gears under hard acceleration (its an auto) i got about 7 cell phone numbers, 3 car loads of teenage boys complimentin me, it was a night of awesome.  i was merging to get onto the highway and floored it to pass some guy and pegged the needle at 120 like no bodys buisness, maybe 4 seconds from a 70 roll, it was rediculous, it sounds so great, looks fantastic, and she ran like hell.  im sorry im so freakin pumped up right now, ill get some pics of the car later this weekend.  man what a fun friday night! when i posted earlier about what the specs were and if they were right, hell ya they were right! that. is. a. fast. car!!!!

that is all!!

I'm sure your father would be pleased to know he trusted you with his classic and you went out and tortured it.....

And my son can't understand why I refuse to let him drive my cars.....

^ya...thats a smart move.  im suprised that my parents trust me with my car.  my mom says that she would rather have me drive my car than a honda because hondas are made out of thin metal and mustangs are made out of strong metal therefore making my car safer.  I know that isnt true but i dont dare tell her that.

note to self, never tell mustang forums parental figures what i did on friday night.
these cars werent made for the sole purpouse of looking at them ( i cant spell, sorry) why would you put a 428 cubic inch motor in a mustang to not go fast? its not like i was holdin onto 120 for more than a half second, it wasnt even intentional, plus its got bigger tires so it reads a little fast.  the only time i ment to do something stupid was when i floored it from a light to see what would happen.  sorry for screwing things up for ur son jamesw, im sure he is a much more responsible kid than i am.

I've been up for 20 hours and just got back from a long run, but wouldn't bigger tires make your speedo read slower than you're actually going?

the car originally had 14 inch whee/tire combo, now its rockin a 15 inch combo bf goodrich radial T/As with mag 500s, i thought this made it read slower, if its readin fast....damn i was haulin  (im pretty sure it reads fast though)

Probably reading fast because it's got higher rear end gears than stock.   And yes... probably smart not to publically brag about doing stupid stuff... there's lots of 5.0 boards out there for that...

and you didn't ruin it for my son... I did...*S*.. I was you age when that car you were driving was 6 years old...not 36*S*  How do you think we drove them then?  they weren't exactly collectors items then...

Totally! We'll go to In-N-Out when your car is wearing paint and mine has a rear end! You'll have to show me the shop that did yours.
