not really, just took pics of the gauges with the car running and set the needles back on the same way. set the needle and speedo using the electronic diagnostic display driving down the road at 60 mph

it looks like Im doin the shifterin closer to 6500 but thats because of the camera angle. I launch at 2300 and flash to 2500, so if that gives you an idea - it looked in the vid like I was launching at like 2800 but I wasnt

What do you think I will be able to launch at with the control arms tires and gears, Joe? :D Im thinking about 4000-4500.

JD - I launched at 2800 dumping, anymore and I spun too much. probably not a whole lot more, but you'll keep the tires planted better - you've got to be wheelhopping through first - every track's different though

Well I launched at 3000 without the CA's and I actually did very well. No wheel hop or spin, so I went from there to 3500 and I got a couple rotations of spin on the take off... nothing bad though. So I figure i will start off at 3500 and work my way up from there and see how it goes with the CA's.

I have my own hosting, I pay $7 a month. I don't mind doing some hosting here and there for our members, just let me know. File size is important, I don't want to host anything over 30mb thats gonna get alot of downloads.

Just face upgrades, got them from Speedhut custom - one side has the Ford Racing emblem and the other side says Mustang GT, they were $120 - you can get cheap overlays from Mac, UPR, a few other places as well. Mine light up blue or green at night and I can dim them. I wired em into my headlight switch, same with my gauges so I can dim everything like stock.

Dude, I just noticed somethin. You werent wearin a helmet. I know at my home track that you got to wear a helmet when your runnin 13.99 or quicker. I dont know if thats the rules at all tracks or just mine.

Think he's at a normal street for the in-car cam.

No I was at the track, SGMP - the track is so lax I let a 10 yr old kid ride shotgun [&:] there is no tech there. NHRA requires helmets for 13.99 or faster, and their an NHRA brand new track, they just haven't learned yet I guess lol. I wear a helmet at other tracks and on race days though, just not TnT [&:]

for us u must wear one on race days (sundays) no matter what your time is....i think anyways

Nice vid MD.[sm=icon_rock.gif] is Pinnacle9 pretty user friendly (can a dummy like me use it?) or does it take a lot of puter savy? I wanna do a good vid of mine when I get it finished, kind of a "in the making of" kind of vid. What kind of recorder did you have to use? Will a regular camcorder work or does it have to be a digicam??

I really liked the vid, MD. The in car cam was very cool. Keep putting more vids out. I'd like to do an in-car shot in the dragster this year; Speedvision said they would do it.

Pin9 is the most user friendly that I've tried (alot). It has its limitations that I'd have to use something else to suppliment it but overall its the best out there other than Adobe - and theirs no way it'd be worth learning that software unless you do it for a living.

Very well made! Like the tune alot! You could hang with my bike in the 1/4mi. Show some more BURN OUTS!!!!!
