I fully understand the differences in the Stage 3 and Blackjack options. Further, principal alone prevents me from paying a dime over MSRP for a GT500. IMHO, this is an insult and I'll have no part of it. Dealership out here is actually, with a straight face, asking 45k over MSRP.
At any rate, I've been offered a new 427R as listed below for 49k off the lot. Good.. bad... if you had the cash, would you do it?
Additonal Options -Quarter window louvers -Roush leather seating -Throw shift with white knob -14 inch brake upgrade -Locking lug nuts
I've ask that it be in White with twin (not the single fat stripe) blue racing stripes from the front to back. I was also not very impressed with the stick-on hood scoop. I'm not a huge fan of functionless fluff. I love the car though and am pretty set on purchasing it within the next few weeks.

PS. I wish I could change the Title of this post... was typing too fast and missed the 4.
Nope, it is really a true limited production (not like the stupid Shelby "limited production" claim).

Yeah, the blackjack is the highest HP production Roush out today, and in truly limited production (100 units).
I know the Blackjack is limited, but I was referring to the 427-R. Is production limited for this car as well? I was under the impression that it is not.

Wow, thanks very much for all your kind input.

In my opinion those are the best options for the car, although I liked the Roush gauges, and white with blue stripes is BEAUTIFUL! The price sounds about right to me.
I would take the 427R at the $49K and smile each time I drove it. They are limited production units like Black Jack, just not as limited. Roush isn't making them to fill orders, so they are limited.
I've seen a couple of 427R and maybe two stage 3. As for the GT500, it just makes my stomach turn. I wish everyone would have just ignored the GT500 to give the dealerships a nice slap in the face.
