Owner 43, Driver 18,
I own it, but my daughter drives it! Hell I have to darn near beg her to drive the Denali when I need my Mustang fix during the winter when the S/C car is in storage.

19, owned for 3 months. If you have no money, because of the car.. you should have bought a cheaper car.

at 17 who gives a **** if you don't have money.  Your parents are still legally obligated to pay for your food/living condition.  TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT!

im 17, bought the car at 16 and i have tons of cash right now, but im going to be dropping it all at once into my car during the summer, so i will be part of the 17 and broke club.

It surprised me at first at all the young guys with V6's, but then I realised maybe with insurance prices, it's all you can get.(for now) Or maybe like me it all depended on income. I could only afford a V6 w/3 options and ordered it. Anyway I'm happy with it and 31.2 mpg isn't bad without much stop/go.

23 years old, I bought my first mustang when I was 19, rust orange 03' auto V6.  In 05' just before I turned 21, like ten days, I traded the orange stang for my new 05' lime metalic green V6 Standard mustang.  Had this car for two years now, still owe quite a bit, but love my car!!

Thank you! We paid $56 for the stripe kit. We figured for that amount, I could make a mistake or not like them all together and only be out small amount of money. They aren't perfect by any means, but not to bad for my first attempt if I do say so myself. Completely changed to look of the car.... the 20" and pony package grill didn't hurt it's new look either.

One would be amazed at when I'll drop the top!
One particular cool day spring of 06 I was on the highway with the top down. Temp was around 45 (F) at the warmest and I slowly catching and passed a guy on a crotch rocket, (he was going just over the speed limit) as I went by I waved, rubbed my hands together in front of the heater vents and looked over at him.  He just shook his head at first then nodded and gave me thumbs up. I basically consider our convertibles as a bike and if I'm by myself the top is going to be down. Once I had the top down while it was starting to snow, I was trying to catch snowflakes with my mouth at a red light! Some older gentleman in his late 60's in a nice old 66 Chevy pick up came up beside me and rolled down his window and said, "You look like you having too much fun there young man! That's a nice real car you've got there I might have to go take a look at those new Mustang convertibles." I said "Thank you sir, and that is a nice '66 Chevy you have there." The look in his eye was priceless when he knew I knew the year of what appeared to be his 'baby'! He smiled and said Thank you!

One thing I learned a LONG time ago, (ironically it was from a 1970 Mustang owner) When someone, ANYONE gives me a complement on our cars, I will reply with a sincere "Thank you" as sometime about 25+ years ago I told that owner of a pretty nice '70 Mustang, Hey, nice car! His reply was "Yea! I know." It was such a turn off for me,  right then and there I said to my self, I will NEVER reply with that type of comment if I ever own a nice car and anyone complements me on it. We have tried to raise our children the same way!

Vstng,
My first car was a 67 Mustang too! (got it back in '79) I didn't realize what I had back then because I didn't even know what GTA stood for! But in our stable we currently have (you guessed it!) the 67 GTA, 69 302, 69 351, 06 Vert V6, 06 Vert GT S/C (soon to be Saleen clone) The 2 69's are rough and don't run... yet!

And one to make a grown man cry!

My favorite Mustang will always be the '67 GTA!

I bought my first Mustang, a '95, back in '97 when I was 20.

Now I'm 30, married, with a daughter and a house.  I traded that first Mustang for a Dodge Ram.. which I traded for my '05.
You can take the guy outta the Mustang, but you can't take the Mustang outta the guy!!

I'm 45 .Bought my 06 v6 manual last july. Now I'll let you in on a little secret but don't tell anyone and don't get mad ,but I have always been a chevy man . My first car was a 67 chevy impala that my dad bought new and was handed down to me .I started driving it in the late 1970s and finally sold it in 1994.WHEW !! A LOT OF MEMORIES in that car .I used to be under the hood of that car almost every day of my life . So with that being said I never thought I would ever own a mustang. But then again what does chevy have out right now except the corvette ? not much. I saw the mustang and was hooked .It is growing on me . A ford man too.

35 year old. At the time of purchase (01/22/05) I was going to buy a white GT. I saw the windveil blue v6 and fell in love. Retro style with that color is amazing!
