Default '07 OEM Take Off Hood Scoop Fit On '06?

Have a buddy that is taking his hood off of his 2007 GT. Has anyone taken a scoop from a 2007 and put it on an '05 or '06? I figure since it's free, why not?!?!

It should fit just fine as they didn't change the hoods, just added scoop. See if you can have his whole hood though because it will be a lot less work then drilling into your hood without a template ...

The template is already there, just remove the fireboard, and look, dimples are already there for drilling.

You sure the 05-06's came that way too since they didn't have the hood scoop option? If so, you learn something new everyday

Remember though, if you're thinking about ever getting the CDC Shaker, it doesn't cover the factory hood scoop holes.
