Default 1st 1/4 run!!! Can I hit 11's?

I'm going to the 1/4 mile track Thursday. I have been down 1/8 mile tracks hundreds of times, but this is my first experience with the extra 660'.

My best time do date is 7.630@92.67 with a 1.77 60ft.

I'm hoping to pull a 1.70 60ft, and somewhere in the 7.50's@93 in the 1/8.

I'd like to see an 11 sec timeslip, but I'm not sure what to think about the trap. Any ideas???? 115ish? Maybe???

Upper teens....118~119mph maybe?? I have no idea how you are pulling after the 1/8th but with 93mph in the 1/8th you should be FLYING by the end...

Well, everyone says nitrous cars dont pull as well on the last 1/8 mile, as they do in the first(b/c or more torque) so we shall see. 11.99@115 is my goal. Shouldnt be too disappointing.

Built 302 stroker, H/C/I, full bolt-on,150 wet shot, stock clutch, stock T-45 tranny, stock 99 Cobra IRS, ET Street Radials(stiff sidewall).

times and traps are a little disappointing thus far compared to power numbers 470/550 at the wheels. But the culprit is definately the stock clutch. It gets REALLY hot, and slips pretty badly on the spray. But I'm gonna go get a couple 1/4 mile runs in, and be done with it until I build the drivetrain up a bit(a month or two).

Dude a slipping clutch will kill your e/t'sfor sure and my even leave you stranded. I run a clutchmaster stage 4 clutch and I'd recomend it to anybody. Only problem with a heavy duty clutch is the next weakest link in the drive train is now exposed. And tranny work is even more expensive.[:@]

I took my c5z to the track for the first time a couple of weeks ago. My 1/8 was around a 7.9 at 93 mph with a 1.96 60'. Iran a 12.16 at 119mph. So I would think you'll hit 11's without to much trouble.
