Default acceleration wistle?

When I accelerate I can hear a wistleing noise. the harder I accelerate the louder the wistle, and if I let off the gas it stops. Does anyone know what could be wrong.

Your whistle is your CAI, check you hose seals on it for leaks, sometimes the whistle no matter how tightly sealed your CAI is

My car did that when I put the K&N airfilter on, I still haven't figured out why. It only does it when i'm standing on the gas after I shift. I've checked every hose, clamp, and seal, nothings leaking as far as I can tell. I just say it's my blow off valve doing its job.

put a dual exhaust system on your car, then you will be listening to the purr of your pipes and not your whistle. they should be louder than your CAI too

Oh shi- i'm on my way out the door!

But seriously, just like jovez said, your whistle is coming from your custom CAI. Double check the seals, also make sure your vaccum hose isn't cracked or anything. The vaccum hose is on the top of the engine, near the firewall on the passenger side with an orange Ford part number sticker wrapped around it; at least, that's where it is on my '02.
+1 on the dual exhaust.

its just your CAI sucking in all that air and when u leave the trhottle alone it kind of dumps it off.Sounds like a mini blow off valve lol
