Default How do you fit a 12" sub?

I'm putting a tight new system in my 02 V6. Alpine header, Diamond spearkers, Pheonix Gold amps... the whole nine yards. One problem: Installers say that you can only fit a 10" sub in a mustang. But I have seen pictures of 12"s in mustangs. Anybody have a 12"? How'd you get it in?

you cant put them under the amp racks unless you have em at an angle, many folks put them off to the sides of the trunk, you can also fit em in the spare tire well

I have one 12" JL W6 is a box and it sits right there in the middle of the trunk. You can fit it.

My friend had two twelves, he had to do something with the back speakers in the car because they go way down in to the back of the trunk, and he had them pointing up, they fit very nicely i dont know if it was a custom box for him or not though.

It is possible. I have an 03 and I have a pair of 12" infinitys in my trunk in a store bought Q-logic box. It takes a lot of finess and removing the plastic screw in things close to the brake lights. It can be done. I ended up with my subs facing up, also, but they sound really good. good luck man!

I have two JL 12's with a Q-logic box built for a Camaro in my trunk. You have room for two 15's, tell that guy to put down the crack pipe...
