Default Rear hitch bar and light hook-up?

I am tired of renting a truck for the occational hauling job. I know there is a rear bar made for the2005V6 coup. Anyone out there ever done this. Who makes a light harness that will work for the trailer hook-up?

As much as it pains me to type this...
Try your local trailer/RV supplyplace or a U-Haul or other local trailer rental place for the wiring.

but here you go....

Thanks 05SDI for the fast reply....I agree, I hate to do this, but I am in a bind with this "hauling" problem. I promise I'll park it in such a way that no one will actually SEE the hitch and get grossed out !Forgive me...I know not what I do !
I have NOT had good relations with U-Haul folks...been there, done that, They take NO pride in there work and hire creativly disadvantaged employees ! Will NOT let them touch my wireing !

I know what you mean. Luckilymy neighbor has a fullsize pickup with hitch that he lets me borrow whenever I want. He hardly drives it himself. Maybe once a month.

Still I hate the site of a stang with a hitch... [&o]Just be sure to turn off the overdrive if it's an automatic. Leaving it on is a sure fire way to burn up the tranny.

Don't do it. Rent the truck it is cheaper than the repair. I went to the ford dealer two days ago and told them my rear axle was a half inch off center. My pony is still under warrenty and they gave me the runaround saying that all mustangs are a little off center. I took the car to my jag dealer and within 5 minutes he told me what was wrong and the problem was from towing. You can bend part of your suspension and that moves your axle over. It will cost me a few hundred dollars to get fixed. Have to wait on my borla exhaust a little longer.

I could not remember the name of the part I bent. Anyway you risk bending the panhard rod that connects the body and the axle. The part runs about $150.00 from Steeda (only one I found), two trips to the alignment rack $89.95 each (one before and one after) and two hours of labor to get it installed and the wheels and body ligned up. I think the Jaguar rate is about $225.00 per hour. This can easily run $7oo-$800. How many trucks will that rent?

Here is everything you need. The hard wiring is done and my hitch is on. Took the kids out fishing with the top down some time ago. Don't believe it if someone tells you something on this site. Keep looking until you know for sure.
Here is where I got the hitch and wiring.

i installed a hitch on my car a couple of months ago... didnt know a video was out there to help with the install, turns out i did it exactly right. I would add that the person who made this video was wrong to hang the trailer wires out of the mustang trunk. that is afro-engineered at its finest. there is a spot to run the wires out of the bottom of the trunk.
been fishing in mine twice and cant even tell the small trailer is back there. this whole mod cost about 100 bucks
