'00 to '04 Hood

Hey everyone this is my first post here. I currently have a 2000 silver v6 with the recessed faux hood scoop and the hood itself has a lot of rock dings all over it and I'm thinking about upgrading to a 2004 hood with the faux scoop that is popping up from the hood and has the aggressive look. I was wondering if a 2004 OEM hood would fit on the 2000, I don't really see why it wouldn't because the body is essentially the same.

The other option that I was thinking about was finding just the hood scoop and installing that on the current hood, but then again the dings would still be there and I would have to take care of that. What do you all think about it?

Hoods from 99-04 are all the same fit.

What site should I get an OEM one from? Whenever I search all I get is modded hoods and eurotrashy looking mustang hoods.

I'd keep an eye on the for sale ads on sites like this. ABC Exclusive sells good quality parts for a good price. I've used them for several of my Mustangs.
