Default nascar gears

I was just wondering if anyone knows what kind of gears they run in their rear ends and what kind of rear ends they use.

I found a page on Roush's website one day that had all the parts listing of his stock cars but can't find it again.[:@]I will keep looking though. It was very interesting.

Here is what I found at the site. Don't know if it completely answers your question but it's pretty cool.

You got it. I found just looking around there one day. It is really neat to see what kind of stuff they run. I absolutely love watching NASCAR you a fan?

I know it is in the 5's. I think it was 5.56, but it was an INSANELY tall gearing.

Really, the gearing all depends on the track. For example, at a short track, they will be running a taller gear for acceleration, but at a superspeedway, the gear won't be as tall so the top speed will be higher.
