95 GT cov/ Cobra Intake swap issue
 

Any bodys hel apreciated. I just installed 95 Cobra upper and lower intake on my GT conv an the cross member in the engine compartment wont fit because of the height of the intake..any Ideas?

you cant put it back on... thats why cobra's didnt have front strut tower bars from tha factory... you can now throw away your strut tower bar

Yeah, your stock one is now useless. You can but some aftermarket strut tower braces that will fit if you want to spend the money on it.

I just saw a 94 Cobra on ebay and a 95 conv on another web site. Im sure they where factory installed on the cobras. Nice....Would like to find an original...Bummer

Cobras don't have them, the intake is larger, and sits differently than a stock GT intake. You'll have to buy a MAC, BBK, or other brand strut tower bar if you still want one, they're made for aftermarket intakes that are larger than the stock GT intakes.
