You have a white car so your in a good postition to do this, most colored cars, especially older ones that have sat outside, will have fade marks. My ranger came with some homo tan flames and I was lucky that they were cheap and peeled right off. In your case, use a blowdryer on a hot day. Try to remove the leftover gunk with goo be gone. If you still cant get it..... suck it up and take it to a detail shop. Are you gonna replace your stripes with black ones?

Just use a blow dryer and heat the decal. Then pull up a corner and continue to use the heat source to cont pulling off the decal. After that goo gone will get any and all adhesive and then proceed to polish and wax the whole car and you are done. Thats what I did in the past and will in the future if I need to. It should look great!

You can also get a heat gun for like $15 from a place like Harbor Freight. Just keep moving the gun back & forth so it dosen`t melt the decal, & it should come right off. I tried using the wife`s hair dryer to get decals off a car, it took forever, & she was a bit ticked at me when it burned out. As stated above, you can then use Goofoff, or WD-40 to loosen/remove the glue
