Anyone who owns a coupe or is considering purchasing a Mustang, please read this thread first!
You could be sorry you baught one or will be. Many of us are very frustrated regarding Ford's refusal to address and correct noisy front suspension problems caused by faulty parts.
Please read this thread! http://www.mustangforums.com/m_2297319/mpage_46/key_/tm.htm#3126974

What do you expect, the Mustang is a cheap mass produced car. Can't compare to my 07 BMW 525 in quality, but it is a hell of a lot more fun to drive, clunks and all.

Iget what you're saying dseid2. But remember, Ford says or used to say "Quality Is Job One"
If you drive a convertable you'll be in for a nice quiet ride with regards to the front suspension.
No reason the coupe's can't be just as nice! They are now coming out that way too. Since April Ford has added the missing cross member and upgraded the strut assemblies including the strut mounts.

Pea Ess, I don't settle for rattles and clunks! You should't settle for any less either!
I mean cheapo civics don't make that noise nor do other Ford cars with struts.
No excuse for the Mustang doing it, none at all!

I am planning on adding the BMR A-Arm support in the next couple of weeks, but for performance, notthe fornt suspension clunks. Note that I haveinstalled theEibach Pro Kit,FRPP dampers, Steeda billet strut tower brace, Steeda Front & rear sway bars, Steeda LCA's, Steeda panhard rod and brace and so far no improvement in the clunks, front or rear. Everything was professionally installed. After I install the A-Arm support I will post the results on this forum.

Okay, sounds like it's time for you to move over to this thread. http://www.mustangforums.com/m_22973...tm.htm#3188401
What you're doing is related to what many others have done and or tried in order to correct the cause of the thunking.
Good luck!
