Cheap Wheel Good for Slicks Only???

I have a 2000 GT ready to launch. It's S/C'd, NOS, etc. and puts out about 550 rwhp with the power adderson. It is a daily driver but I want to use slicks on weekends and don't want to pay big bucks for good looking wheels just 2 hours every other week. What is the cheapest way to go to handle a 10.5-ish slick that will hold up? I heard Jeep/Chrysler wheels work? What else? What backspace? I don't care about how it looks. Some black paint will clean it up. Thanks.

im looking for the same thing i have a pair of 26x11.50 -16 et street im just looking for some rims to put them on i have a o3 cobra with the irs some 16x9 wheels well do like the ones came on the 1998 mustang gt

a set of american racing aluminum wheels woudl be a good choice... you can get them cheap too... like $75 ea
