Default 06 Cobalt SS S/C with "Stage II" mod

Im running one latertonight. It's the same one I've talked about (my friend's) since I first got here.Except this time, he has his"Stage II" mod, from the dealer, on his side. It's new injectors and a pulley for his S/C. He says he's running 17psi now. His other mods are CAI, short shifter, and exhaust. My mods are in my sig.

What's gonna happen 0-130mph? My thoughts are that if I beat him, he's doing something wrong...

And so you know... we raced 0-130mphwhen I had only exhaust and CAI. He had CAI, short shifter, and exhaust at the time. My windows were down (big difference at 130mph lol) and we both had 3 otherpeople in the car. Anyway I had one length on himat all times and was veryslowly walking away.

EDIT: I think I might throw in some octane boost andbump up my timing a little bit tonightfor that extra inch... or millimeter

If you're starting from a dig, why go to 130? Neither of you are trapping that high in the 1/4, it is kind of pointless don't you think.
I would say that he will probably beat you if he is really pushing 17psi, but I don't know much about those cars.

The stage 2 upgrade and those bolt ons that he has, he will get you from 0 to 100, which like "SINISTER" said, there isnt any point going faster than 100. Good luck, I think you'll need it.

I don't know the first thing about Cobalts, but I'm sure his only way to beat you would be on the top end. If you get a decent launch, there's no way he'll take you from a dig. Go from a dig and hope he shifts' slow.

Good luck and post results

Not really sure whywego to 130. Probably so we know EXACTLY how our cars match up against eachother? We get the best of both worlds. From a dig, and top end. And also because we have enough space, so we might as well use it all up But yea like I said, and like you guys are saying, I think he'll haveme. Not by alot though. Hell, I might even win. And of course I'll post results. There'll be no vids though... camera went thru the washing machine *whoops* thank god for insurace!

I have a friend, He has the GM stage 2 kit on his ss and with slicks and suspention mods, and a 75 shot(plus a few more bolt ons) he managed a 12.8 at 110. Real nice time for a Coblat. when he was just stage 2 & intake. He ran 13.8 at 105. Have you ever ran at the track before? I think high 13's are pretty common for a Cobalt with the mods you mentioned.
