Default Replacement tyres

Guys,
Need to replace the tyres on my '06 S281. Any ideas on what to replace the PirelliP Zero's. I use the car everyday and have had a few goes up the drag strip so something nice and sticky......

some of the cars came with the Dunlops. I know they are cheaper than the P Zeros. My came with the p Zeros and they wer not that bad. I can tell you to stay away from the Toyo proxes 4's. I had a set of 295-30-20's on my 10 inch rears and they had a lot of sidewall flex in them.

A lot will depend on the size of your tires, as there are not a lot of options for some sizes. I've been researching this as well (do a search and you'll find the thread I started on this a few months back) and it looks like the P-Zeros are my only option for the rear tires. A great resource (and sponsor of this site) is www.tirerack.com. If you put in the parameters, the site will come back with your options and prices.

Happy shopping!

I was contemplating the PSII, but the P Zero aren't that bad.

I don't know about the p zero in the 20" but with the 18" on my cars, the difference in general handling between my 01 with p zeros and my 02 with pilots was night and day. I owned both cars at the time and going from one to the other was an amazing difference. I was fighting the p zeros constantly as they wanted to follow every little crack in the road. Just my experience with them anyway. But I have heard others say the same.
