Default Alternative Rims for Ponys

Searching for new rims for the V6 I see nada for 16", and everything for 17" and 18" are "reproductions" of stock Bullitts or Ricer rims.

What gives?

This is a retro pony, why are there no retro rims to fit it????

Anybody get anything else on the pony that fits well?

That is exactly what I mean...

Only 2 choices, Bullitt clones & RICE.

I would just buy takeoff rims...

What about CRAGAR S/S or similar "old school" rims?

Nothing fits the new Mustangs....

I REALLY don't like the ricey ones!

SS, Torq Thrust D/M, Centerline are available in 16 &17. I was looking to get a set of vintage Torque Thrust Ds or Centerlines both were available via special order. I believe the price quoted me for the Ds was 225 per wheel in 17s.
Fazm has a sweet set of old school 15s with M/Ts on the rear.

This place has many wheels that you can order with custom backspacing/offset.

Personally I am content with my deep dish bullitts -

Thanks for the site.

Didn't know you could get custom ones too.

Now if I should go 17 or 18...

I vote go 18's with tall rubber. I get so many looks and compliments on my car its not funny. The 18's with the tall rubber give it an awesome stance with a raked look reminiscent of the "real" musclecar era.

I bought a set of Ford POLISHED 17x8" rims for our vert just because I thought that they looked like the old Cragar SS rims. They are not as shiney as the Chrome wheels. This was before take-off wheels were widely available, and now you see Bullitts all the time

Your ride looks awesome with the chrome Bullitts!

I was looking for a more old school appearance but I have no idea what offset or backspacing we need for the new Mustangs.

The AR rims that "fit" the new mustangs are either Bullitts or RICE.

What offsetand backspacing do we need for the new Mustangs?????

Nice too!

I used to run Cragar SSTs on my 70 Cougar. Full dish with a gazillion boltheads!

They don't make them anymore.
