Default Gas prices

I am in washinton state and currently regular gas is going for $3.15 a gallon and may continue to go to $ 4.00 a gallon with prices soaring i feel that by the time i finish my mustang it will be too expensive to even drive. I just hate inflation what are your views on this? can we run our mustangs on
alcohol? i have have a neighbor and we have a bootleg still and plenty of fruit from our orchard to ferment ..

Mine isn't a daily driver. So in the grand scheme of things, the cost of gas is such a minor expense relative to all the other costs that go along with having the car.So it really won't effect anything for me until modern cars stop using gasoline and it becomes hard to find a place to fill up my old car...and that's clearly not going to happen any time in the next few decades.

well we allow it to happen as consumers because all we do is complain and not take action perhaps if we had some more refineries built here in the states cause we haven't had a new one get built for what like 30yrs oh and we are talking so much about e85 and how great it is yet we have two stations here in az with it and its for gov use only i think if we went to like a e50 what would reduce our gas consumption by half i know if we went e85 as a nation for sure and stuck with it i would buy all the necessary what not for my car as long as the price went down i miss 89cents a gallon that was nice

My biggest problem with it is not the prices are rasing but that the oil companies have reported the highest profits ever.If the increase was due to the increase in production costs then the profit would not increase so exponentially. Those companies are screwing us over royally and all it would take is one day of 50% of nation not purchasing gas but like thatll happen

if 50% of the nation doesnt buy gas one day they are going to buy gas the day before or after so its pointles IMO

Point taken but i do believe it would hurt the oil companies enough to send a message.Point being we could change it if everyone took action but i kno it wont happen

As a stock holder in Exxon-Mobil (closed at $80.55 today), I love it - as a consumer, I don't. If you want some relief, keep in mind that it's the 'greenies' (insert a political party here) that have prevented this country from drilling in Alaska, offshore California and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico for oil. That same group of loonies placed so many restrictions on oil refineries that an oil company just plane don't want the hassle. The solution - your vote. Do I need to name names?

LoL your complaining?? it's freakin $3.30 a gallon here in California! and to make matters worse it's not even summer yet...but I do believe, like some of you that we can't just complain we need to do something. Such a simple solution to have thousands of people not pump gas for just 1 day, 1 day!! but, even though they try it never falls through. But anyways...as another solution to your mustang, I heard that propane injection is possible on early carburated cars.

stop complaining guys

I hate to think what Paddy or Kalli are paying

Over here its US $4.50 a gallon for premium now...i'd kill to be paying $3.15 or $3.30.

Haha, I consume so much gas personally in my 408 stroker burning rubber outa every stoplight and racing anything with four wheels!!! When my car park my car for a couple of weeks to work on it, OPEC notices exactly a 6% decrease in the national demand for gas.
