Default 1993 Crown Vic Police 4.6 into '94 Mustang Conv.

I have a 1993 Crown Vic Police Interceptor with a 4.6 V8, I would like to transfer the engine, trans, computer and wiring harness into a 1994 Mustang Convertible (formerly a V6). Would I be able to use the computer, harness in the swap or should I get a 4.6 computer / harness from a Mustang? I've been told that all of the 4.6 blocks are all basically the same. Has anyone had experience in doing an engine swap like this? Can I use Mustang 4.6 parts on the '93 Crown Vic police 4.6 and drop the engine into the '94 Mustang? I have been told that I may be able to use Mustang parts from certain year models. Is that true? I would like to mildly build the 1993 Crown Vic engine before dropping it into the '94 Mustang. I would like to obtain a set of heads, intake, or stroker kit but I am unsure of what to get that will be compatible with the '93 Crown Vic Police Interceptor 4.6 engine. If anyone could offer me advice or point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Dont quote me, but I think it will work just fine. Please be patient, there will be others that will chime in. Also, I would recommend you post this question in the 4.6 forum as well, those guys will know for sure. Check both forums and you should get some good information. Welcome to the board!
