Default Zoom Clutch Issue ( I think)

maybe someone can put my worries to rest... I recently had a Zoom Stage 2 Clutch installed... I now have 2300 miles on it, most are highway miles, but there has gotta be a good number of driving around town miles on it as well.

Honestly, I've made 3 hard launches with it, really the only time I really get on it WOT is in 3rd and 4th gear on the highway aside from the 3 line-em-up and go for broke launches... the car is at 430RW right now.

The Clutch is slipping, it slipped immediately after those 3 hard launches as well ,and then seemed to come back... I;ve been getting more agressive with the clutch in the last few hundred miles...but noting too crazy... Seems like everytime after i get on her, it starts slipping again... also after I know it starts slipping what is the best thing to do assuming that it is still breaking in... Keep driving it mellow, or get off the road and let it cool down? Or does that even matter>? BTW Its a kevlar surface... fyi

Now my quesition is did I ruin this clutch, is it a POS and should I just scrap it and get something else, or should I just be more paitent... ?

Default RE: Zoom Clutch Issue ( I think)

Not too sure if it is the same thing with zoom clutchs as it is with SPEC clutchs but with them you have to have a SPEC clutch and SPEC flywheel. You cant missmatch the two. I hope this help and you can always give zoom a call for a proper break in period and what flywheel they would recomend if you need a diff. one. I would think that your clutch would be broke in by now. Well let us know what the fix is. Good luck
